FISHING REPORT - 4/27/2017
Here is today's fishing report summed up in one picture from Dr. Seuss. The bluefish are here and they are nice and fat. Stop by and see us for some fresh bunker, fresh shrimp or some stingsilvers and get out there and snatch them up.Image may contain: text

Weather Underground certainly did not predict today's weather very well. With intermittent heavy storms throughout the area today fishing was spotty for most of the morning! Luckily it cleared up this afternoon for several people to get out and catch more BIG Bluefish as well as some yearling and Puppy Drum! Still hearing of scattered Sea Mullet, Blowtoads and Drum out there as well!

As of now the weather forecast looks great for the next couple days! Fingers crossed that stays true!

Come see us....the coffee is always free!

Wind and rain on island slowed fishing down a great deal today with not a whole lot being caught. There were still several Bluefish reeled in as well as a few smaller Sea Mullet. Looks like by Mid-Day to Late tomorrow we should be back in action with clear skies, a nice SW wind and temps in the low to mid 70's! The remainder of the week looks amazing!

Fresh Shrimp, Bloodworms, Nightcrawlers all available as well as frozen Finger Mullet, Sand Fleas, Squid and even chicken necks for the

Unfortunately the wind is keeping most people inside and not out fishing. Those who have braved the sand blasting otherwise known as the Hatteras Island Natural Exfoliation, have reaped the benefits! Still getting great reports of BIG Bluefish being caught from Salvo all the way to Hatteras. Sea Mullet, Croaker and Blow Toads are all being reported as well!

Thanks to our friends for sharing this Bluefish catch of the day!
