FRANK AND FRAN'S HATTERAS ISLAND FISHING REPORT-06/18/2019
Sadly, the current continues to push dirty water toward the Island and anglers are having trouble getting a good bite. With Sea Mullet and Blues in Rodanthe. The water in Salvo as well as Avon is dirty and mucky and so far not many people are having luck hooking into a decent fish. In Buxton they are catching Sea Mullet as well as Spanish and Blues in Frisco. Sea Mullet and Blues in Hatteras.
The reports of the Blues and Spanish are in good numbers so make sure to throw metal (Sting Silvers, Gotcha plugs, Hopkins spoons) to increase your chances of catching a Blue or Spanish.

FRANK & FRAN'S HATTERAS ISLAND FISHING REPORT - 6/12/19

Still not much on the fishing front to report today as the weather has just been crappy! Lots of folks coming in and asking about fishing, what's been biting, what's the best bait, etc. etc. Many times we've said that sand fleas make amazing bait right now and we get that "deer in the headlights" look.

BTW, the ones with the eggs sacks are the best for bait! Not only do we sell them fresh at times, we also sell them frozen. Or we can even teach you how to catch them yourself!

Tight Lines and See you soon!

FRANK & FRAN'S HATTERAS ISLAND FISHING REPORT - 6/11/19

Some crazy storms came across the island this morning bring some wicked lightening and heavy rain. Once it passed we were left with a mostly cloudy day until a beautiful sunset and rainbow showed up to close out the evening.

Slow fishing today with not much other than Sea Mullet and Blues being reported throughout the island. However, Landon S. from Cottage Grove, WI caught 2 baby sharks and a croaker from the Frisco beach using saltwater fake bait and sand fleas! Great job Landon!

Our summer hours have begun and we're open 6am - 9pm! See you soon!

Until then, go out there and get your lines wet!
